Our Comfort Bags, Making a Difference

Each comfort bag costs $150 to prepare and what began with one person's discovery of helpful products during their own battle with cancer has evolved into a carefully curated collection that addresses the most common side effects of chemotherapy and radiation. Every product has been tested by time and countless patients who have found genuine benefit.

Our bags go beyond basic necessities to include items that provide both practical relief and emotional support, anticipating needs that patients might not even realize they'll have. From soothing skin care products to warm accessories and gift cards for essential expenses, these readily available items can make each day a little easier to manage during the stress of treatment schedules and medical appointments.

If you know someone who could benefit from a comfort bag, we can create and deliver one specifically for them. Together, we're building a community of care and support for those who need it most.

WHAT YOU’LL FIND IN EACH COMFORT BAG

& WHY THEY ARE IMPORTANT

  • Keeping your mouth moist will help prevent mouth sores during treatment.  Use it twice daily.  It tastes icky, but I promise it helps.

  • You may have a metallic taste in your mouth during chemotherapy. Yummy lemon drops help cut that unwanted taste.

  • During and after radiation  and chemotherapy your skin can become really dry, Aquaphor works great for this.

  • Treatment, medications, stress and anxiety can all be the culprit for why you are making so many trips to the bathroom. Use this ointment as directed and it will help with some of the discomfort.

  • Snuggly accessories not only keep you warm but help keep your circulation moving.

  • Stay hydrated!  It can be hard to remember to drink when everything taste like metal, but your body needs the water to heal.

  • During and after your treatment it can sometimes be hard to verbally express your feelings.  Write them down and remember a friend wil, always be there to listen or read what you have written.  Also great for taking down Doctor’s notes and appointments.

  • Use it for gas to travel to appointments or lunch or any expense you may incur.
